When Angels Die 7" Single (Delta9 01D9no.01)
When Angels Die (1994) B/W One O' Clock Train(2001)

The Miserables long awaited purple seven inch (like the 'Babydoll'
single was conceived years before) was recorded in Arbour Hill, Albany
New York, October 1994, and was scheduled for prompt release.
A change in line-up renderered this recording useless until August 2001;
When Ritchie Pills, the original bass player of that time,
and owner a mix down digital audio tape, decided to start Delta9,
and graciously asked me to help. Side B. was destroyed long ago,
so we re-recorded it in my living room at 4'th street, and I added
a little Piano on my 1950's 'Tom Thumb" 44 key. We did it on
analog 4-track cassette! The record plays at 33 and a third, and is
digital metal mastered, there are only 500 made.
This is one fine freshmen product.

Goblin

Written in 1995 for a very, very pretty girl.
Hence the name. Three years later I recorded
it with Bobby Guilty who liked the song.
I remember trying to imitate Paul McCartney's
"All My Loving" bass line in the chorus for this one.
We must of have been consuming many beverages
that evening, because Im hard pressed to remember
what season, or time of day it was. I know it was
Tascam eight track, reel to reel.
This is one of my favorites.

reasons it was not added to their reperotoire
of practice or live act. It was recorded on Tascam
eight track reel to reel and mixed to digital audio
tape. Featuring A.Miserable- drums,guitar,bass,
and vocals. Bobby Guilty-Extra guitar

Hungry Like The Wolf

It was 1998, and you couldnt turn around
without some kinda 1980's reference in your
face. I was just a little kid in the 80's. All I could
remember was Huey Lewis and people dressed like
Don Johnson. What the hell was cool about that?
So we did two cool covers, one was this sorry version
of Duran Duran thing Im stuck with here. The other
I hope to find was a cool Ocktoberfest version of 'Kiss
Me Deadly' we did. ha ha ha..

7" single, this version post dates the original
intended recording (1994) by 5 and a
half years (in the true Miserables fashion.)
Recorded at KSR, not too many differences
can be noted altogether, really.

LIGHTS OUT

Featuring Aaron Miserable on drums & guitar
Bobby Guilty on Bass, and Extra guitar. Recorded 2001.

WHEN YA GET DRAFTED

This is a cover of a Dead Kennedys song from 1980
off their album "Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables"
This version was done at home with digital eight track.

TWO-SIDED POLITICS

This is a cover of a Suicidal Tendencies song from 1983.
I found this gem at a relatives house. Recorded in 98 , I think.

THREE MAN

Recorded at KSR , When? I Dont remember.
My master tape is half playable , so most of the drums on this
version are triggered by Ted with a Alesis D4, and by me with
DRUMAGOG. Keyboards are lost, as well as some guitar. Somehow,
I think it sounds better than the original mix.

BABYDOLL

Recorded initially in 1995 with a subserviant bass line,
Bobby guilty returned to the studio to do the bass line proper.
Represented here is the preferred version.

BLOODFEAST

This track is a cover of the classic song
by the Misfits. We used to open our live shows with this number

SATURDAY NIGHT HOLOCAUST

Recorded on four track at home.
This recording was done with a drum machine, and you
you can tell it was done it short order. Originally
performed by the Dead Kennedys.

FAIR WEATHERED FRIENDS

Written in 2008, recorded March 3 2008.
Mixed in April, with Sony Vegas 4.0.

Miserables First Demotape 1994

This is a fine example of a very poor band!
However, it did get us alot of club gigs.
The RUnning time is right about 11:00 minutes
1.ABUSE ME
2.STRANDED
3.WHEN ANGELS DIE
4.AFTER ALL

HALE BOPPA BOPPA

Written for a friend who came up with the title.
You know who you are!! Always wanted to write a song like this.

IN MY LIFE

Written by the famous Lennon\McCartney. I hope I did
this some justice, its a beautiful song.

STEINMETZ

Recorded in a bedroom with an electronic kick.
It was captured on a Tascam four track cassette recorder. Certain editing
is predominate in this version.

BLACKDREAM

A recording from 1993 originally written by Samhain.

I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND

Taken from from a single acetate pressed backed in 1998.
Of course, this is the only exsisting copy of this song. The original author
is from the 1920's and unknown.

INTERVIEW AT SIENA COLLEGE

Short but sweet, the Miserables were asked
to leave the building.
The day I learned about Echelon words,
and Wackenhut security authorized to use deady force.

TEENAGERS FROM MARS/CHILDREN IN HEAT

If you dont know this one, what are you doin here?
1978 Horror Business Classic, the demo that got us a gig with Bobby Steele!

ENGLAND BELONGS TO ME

A.Miserable and Bobby Guilty are getting very drunk
and decide they are British with
a Cocksparrer bar room singalong.

I AM MISERY

Here is a test recording made with a new digital eight
track multi-track recorder I received. I played a beat down
Ludwig kit, with acoustic triggers via keyboard midi drum bank,
making it sound much better. The snare broke on take three,
so I played a phone book as a snare !
Given here is take 6 vocals, mix-down 9.
Recorded on February 18 & 19 , 2008.
MIXED ONTO COMPUTER FEBRUARY 20'th.
